Anxiety relief starts here.
Personalized therapy for anxiety, OCD, phobias and trauma in Arizona.

Anxiety, OCD and trauma don’t have to control your life.
If you’ve been living with constant worry, intrusive thoughts, or the weight of past experiences, you’re not alone. Therapy can help you break free from these patterns and start feeling like yourself again.
Finding the right approach for you.

Exposure and Reponse Prevention (ERP)
ERP is the gold standard treatment for OCD and intrusive fears. In a supportive and gradual way, you’ll face the thoughts or situations that trigger anxiety while practicing new responses. Over time, this retrains your brain so obsessions and compulsions no longer control your life. ERP can be challenging at first, but with guidance and compassion, it’s one of the most effective paths to lasting freedom from OCD.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a powerful therapy for healing trauma and painful experiences that feel “stuck.” Instead of just talking about the past, EMDR helps your brain process memories so they no longer trigger the same intense emotional or physical reactions. Clients often describe feeling lighter, calmer, and more at peace as old wounds lose their grip.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT gives you tools to handle difficult thoughts and emotions without getting stuck in them. Instead of fighting anxiety, you’ll learn skills to stay present, grounded, and connected to your values. These tools help reduce symptoms while also building a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
What sets Clarity Lab apart?
At our practice, we take a direct and straightforward approach to therapy. We do not just talk about anxiety, we give you tools and strategies that actually work. Our focus is on evidence-based methods, like EMDR, ERP, and ACT, that help clients not only feel better in the moment but create lasting change. We work with you to set goals, track your progress, and adjust your treatment so you can move past the cycles of worry, fear, and avoidance that have been holding you back.
We offer the flexibility of in-person or telehealth appointments to meet your needs and make therapy accessible. Unlike many therapy experiences, our clients do not just feel supported, they actually get better. They leave sessions with practical tools, actionable strategies, and a sense of confidence in their ability to manage anxiety and live a fuller, more connected life.

Investing in Your Mental Health
We accept insurance to help make therapy more accessible. You’ll find the list of accepted providers below.
We also offer a private pay option for those who prefer not to use insurance. Many clients choose private pay because it offers greater privacy, flexibility, and freedom from the limitations insurance companies can place on treatment. If you have out-of-network benefits, we’re happy to provide a superbill you can submit for possible reimbursement.

FAQs
How long does therapy take to work?
EMDR is known to be a fast-acting form of therapy. Most of our clients begin to see noticeable results within the first six weeks. For clients with more severe symptoms or patterns of avoidance, therapy can move at a slower pace. At Clarity Lab, we are careful to make sure we are moving at the right pace for each client.
Is EMDR safe?
Yes. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a well-researched, evidence-based therapy for trauma and anxiety. It works by helping your brain process distressing memories safely, without needing to relive them in full detail. Sessions are guided at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and you remain in control the entire time. Side effects are generally mild, like temporary emotional intensity, and are managed within the session. We also screen all of our clients for dissociative symptoms which further reduces any risk of harm to our clients.
Will therapy make me feel worse before I feel better?
Some sessions may bring up uncomfortable emotions or memories. This is normal and part of the healing process. Together, we create a safe environment and pace the work to minimize distress while still making progress.
What will I pay for each session?
If you are using your insurance, you can call the number on the back of your insurance card and they will tell you the exact co-payment you can expect to pay at the time of service. If you are not using insurance, you will pay the private pay rate.
What if my thoughts or panic never go away?
Persistent thoughts and panic can feel discouraging, but therapy gives you tools to reduce their intensity and impact. You’ll learn skills to respond to anxiety differently, which gradually increases control and relief.
What if I can’t handle talking about my anxiety or trauma?
It’s completely normal to feel nervous or afraid about discussing difficult experiences. Therapy doesn’t force you to relive anything you’re not ready for. We work at a pace that feels safe for you, and we use tools like EMDR, grounding exercises, and gentle exposure to help process memories without overwhelming you. The goal is to give you control, not to push you past your limits. You can take things one step at a time, and you’ll be supported throughout the process.
Will I feel judged or shamed for my thoughts or fears?
No. Therapy is a safe, nonjudgmental space. Everyone experiences intrusive thoughts, fears, or anxiety at some point, and having them doesn’t make you “bad” or weak. My role is to help you understand and work through your thoughts without shame, with empathy and respect. You can share honestly, knowing you’ll be supported, not judged.
Can therapy help me trust myself and my decisions again?
Yes. Anxiety and trauma can make you doubt your instincts or second-guess every choice. Therapy helps you reconnect with your inner sense of judgment by teaching skills to manage anxiety, process past experiences, and practice decision-making in a supportive environment. Over time, you’ll build confidence in yourself and your ability to make choices that feel right for you.
Do I have to confront everything that scares me to get better?
No. Therapy is paced to your readiness. You’ll only face fears when you’re prepared, and we use strategies like EMDR, gradual exposure, and coping skills to make the process safe and manageable.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Everything you share in therapy is confidential, except in situations where there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others, or as required by law. Confidentiality is foundational to creating a safe space for healing.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. We are transparent about pricing, cancellation policies, and any other fees upfront so you always know what to expect.
